they've basically skipped internal playtesting, releasing cards with high chances of being OP and profiting off of the FOMO-need for the new cards. The emotes are even more antagonistic in order to fuel the FOMO in order to generate more purchases. The Phoenix/Monk season set the formula for this game to die to. Pure capitalism greed, devs suck

People don't understand that we don't live in a game. So don't spend money on the games. Games are the companies which are trying to get the money out of your pocket in every way possible. We live in real world, so be in real world, spend money on real physical things if possible. Play the game for a entertainment purpose only and don't compete with people on the games cause it's not real of course. And most importantly, control your mind while spending money online.😊

i feel like the only way to fix this game is to revert a lot of updates. there's no way the game continues like this

In this day and age investors want a lot of money coming from video games and the way CR is designed makes it quite difficult to monetize to the extent that investors want without making the game p2w

Goblin curse seems like the more broken of the two. I suggest turning every other character to turn to goblin for a decent nerf. So bats would produce 3 goblins instead of 5, archers would make 1 goblin, goblin gang would make 3 etc

Idk what they were thinking when they added the goblin curse. Anyone remember the party rocket and how OP converting units into goblins are? (ofc this is at a higher scale but still.) New game modes are pretty sweet as it adds variety but this feels like touchdown where we know this is only temporary. The goblin queen's ability is an interesting aspect that might be seen in the future. However, this is a scary thought as this can be another tower troop in the form of king tower abilities.

You should play this game more, I would watch it, great way to kinda semi-boycott CR for it being pitiful atm

Not going to lie, I've played since the beginning and I actually don't mind this update. Mind you I'm a maxed account and had plenty of overstock to level the new cards up (which would suck for others) I personally don't agree with your giant skeleton reference because your skipping many other stats that set the two card costs. My personal biggest issue is the sheer amount of hacking and cheating going on now, especially that folks can use on PC now. And the best part is don't bother to report unless your willing to do all the leg work for Stupidcell. They've become they laziest shady company I've seen in a while

I play royal giant and prince is so braindead, just kills literally everything even if you e spirt fisherman it'll still charge and one shot the fisherman

Only way to fix it is for someone to be in charge and has the guts to make a new ladder without champions or evos. Id kill to go back to those days. I know people spent money upgrading them so it's basically impossible for the game to ever be good again. I miss having to use strategy.

I was consistently a top ladder F2P player (never spent a dime on this game) and I quit about a year ago when evolutions first released. It was super obvious evos were a cash grab and just a horrible update bc they gave a free advantage with no drawback (so who wouldn’t play them), and you could only get them with money. I bet anyone would prefer an update such as 2v2 ladder over p2w evos and tower troops where something fun actually changed about the game rather than more overpowered cards f2p players can’t get. And what’s with the 20 offers in the shop page? It’s so clear devs don’t gaf about the player base anymore. Nowadays I rarely open up the game, and when I do it’s to play a triple draft friendly battle game with my friend. No evos, no tower troops, no bs, just all strategy. I used to play this game religiously every day and now I open it once a month max. It’s a shame what happened to the game I loved, and honestly it’s easier now to pretend clash Royale is still in its old glory days rather than what it became- a dead cash grab game.

When the update came my phone storage space wasn't enough so i just deleted CR as it is lmao, the hype is no more and i just keeped the game without playing it for a long time hoping for a change but sadly i think clash royal is finished

You can't balance a game with over a 100 cards and make them all feel unique people need to come down.

3:00 the problem isn't that the cards are locked behind the game mode. That's actually a positive. It's the fact that the game mode is a little half baked. Great concept and art least they tried but it's just that the mode kinda sucks

Supercell: releases huge dynamic update with three incredible new cards and the funnest game mode since x7. Boss: we are doomed also b-rad says so too

Aside from the gameplay itself still being unique for a mobile game, it really feels like all of the charm is gone and the devs are just milking the game for what it's worth before End of Service

Honestly as an average clash royal player (lvl 48, 8000 trophies) who plays a few matches a day this new mode has been very fun and I've actually enjoyed the update. While yea, it might suck that they release unbalanced cards here and there it really at the end of the day when these cards finally gets balanced just adds 3 actually unique cards to the games card pool. When it comes to the goblin demolisher being op, i would like to point out that it is the only cards everyone starts with, and the fact that you don't unlock every single card at the start actually gives me some fun new cards to look forward to unlock once i reach enough trophies. PLUS the trophy road guarantees the unlock of the cards, so most good players who are stacked up with wildcards and or books will be able to max the cards rather quickly.

Bro. I couldn't even buy the offers till I got the cards. God forbid there's more progression in the game? The mode isn't even difficult anyway. Up until the very end, you lose under half the trophies from a loss than you gain from a win. Why is everyone complaining about cards being exclusive to the mode? If it gets boring, that's probably because you don't enjoy Clash Royale to begin with considering most people say it's too similar to the normal game The only difference to adding these cards somewhere to the Trophy Road is that high-up players actually have to work to get the cards.
